Robert Hallam

Robert Hallam is a highly regarded, multi-award winning photographer specializing in Sports photography.

Born in 1961 in Torquay, South Devon, Robert's favourite subject at school was Art, but apart from ideas and a sense for composition, lacked any real drawing ability. He completed an Ordinary and Higher National Diploma in Photography at Plymouth College of Art and Design. Having always loved sport Robert chose to concentrate on this as his final project at college.

Now based in West London he has worked for The Independent and Independent on Sunday newspapers since 1989. Robert is married with three young sons.
